We are proud to be part of Creative Clusters, a national initiative that supports schools working together on creative learning projects. This exciting programme allows us to collaborate with other local schools — Murhur N.S., Firies N.S., and Blennerville N.S. (St. Brendan’s N.S.) — to share ideas and explore new ways of learning.

Our cluster's project focused on bringing the arts back into STEM, blending science and technology with creativity and expression. With the support of a €1,500 annual grant, we were able to invest in resources such as the First Lego League ‘Masterpiece’ kit, drama workshops for our pupils, audio equipment, and costumes and props for our school plays. The funding also helped cover transport costs to local performances, ensuring our pupils could enjoy and be inspired by the wider arts community.

Creative Clusters has added a vibrant, imaginative layer to learning at The Mon and continues to inspire both pupils and teachers alike.
