We love a good quiz at The Mon! From quick-fire classroom rounds to big competitions outside school, our boys love putting their heads together to take on a challenge. Quizzes are a brilliant way to learn, have a laugh, and show off what we know.

The boys take part in all sorts of quizzes during the year – some just for fun, and some more competitive. In class, we often use Kahoot! to keep learning lively and enjoyable. The cheers (and the friendly rivalries!) always add great energy to the room.

We’ve been taking part in the Credit Union Quiz for years, and it’s always something the boys look forward to. It gives them a chance to work together, build confidence, and show off all the great things they’ve learned. They always do well – but more importantly, they really enjoy being part of it.

In 2024/25, we were delighted to take part in the Cumann na mBunscol GAA Quiz for the first time. It was a brilliant experience for the boys, representing The Mon and flying the flag with pride. We’re looking forward to making it a regular event from now on.

At The Mon, we see quizzes as more than just questions and answers – they’re about teamwork, fun, learning, and giving every child the chance to shine. Whether it’s in the classroom or on the big stage, the boys always give it their best, and we’re mighty proud of them.
