2024/2025 school year with our 5th class — and what a success it was!
The programme gave our pupils an exciting opportunity to explore the world of business in a hands-on and creative way. Over the course of the year, they learned about the key stages involved in setting up and running a business — from idea generation and market research to branding, sales, and finance. The experience helped develop important life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and resilience.
Our young entrepreneurs came up with a fantastic business idea that was truly unique to our school: a recipe book titled Mon Flavours. Inspired by our hugely popular World Food Day, which takes place each year during Cultural Week, the children wanted to celebrate the rich diversity within our school community.

The book featured a wide range of delicious recipes from around the world, submitted by pupils, their families, staff members, and past pupils. Each recipe was accompanied by a short personal story and a fun, chef-style photo of the contributor, making the book both a culinary and memory-filled keepsake. Mon Flavours was not just a product — it was a celebration of culture, food, family, and connection.
Importantly, the recipe book was also profitable, giving our pupils valuable real-world experience in managing a successful business venture.
The project was a wonderful experience from start to finish and one that the children will remember for years to come. We look forward to building on this success in future years!
