Rooted in a Catholic tradition, our school promotes values such as kindness, respect, inclusion, and a sense of community in daily life.
Religious education is part of the curriculum, and key events in the Church calendar are celebrated throughout the year. Boys in 2nd Class prepare for First Holy Communion, and 6th Class pupils for Confirmation, with the guidance of their teachers and the support of local parish priest Fr. Joe Begley.
We are a diverse and welcoming school, with children from many different religious and cultural backgrounds. All pupils are encouraged to respect and appreciate the beliefs of others.

We use the values of the Catholic church—such as kindness, respect, forgiveness, and compassion—to guide how we live and learn together each day.
One special moment in this journey is the celebration of First Holy Communion, a significant sacrament for Catholic children as they receive the Eucharist for the first time. We support and prepare our pupils for this important step in partnership with families and the parish, while continuing to foster a school environment where every child feels valued, respected, and included.
